The MRABA, or Membership Recruitment Acceptance Binding Agreement, is a binding agreement.
As the last step in the Recruitment Process, it is the contract all potential new members sign to receive a bid for membership from a National Panhellenic Conference Sorority. It is a binding contract between the PNM and the NPC.
Within the MRABA the PNM will be asked to sign or initial a series of statements indicating that she understands the rules and policies regarding accepting an invitation or bid.
Any sorority listed on the MRABA is a possible match for the PNM. By putting a sorority on the MRABA, the PNM is pre-accepting a possible invitation to membership from that sorority. If a PNM does not want to join a certain sorority, she should not list that sorority on the MRABA.
At Tarleton State University, there is only a maximum of two chapters that can be listed on the MRABA. We can not guarantee that PNMs will be invited up to two chapters on Preference Night. Only chapters that a PNM visited on Preference Night can be listed on the MRABA.
If a PNM signs the MRABA and receives a bid, but then decides to decline it, she is then ineligible to join any other sorority until the next Primary Recruitment period (Fall 2026). This also applies if a PNM accepts a bid but later decides to break her pledge to the sorority or if the sorority breaks its pledge to the PNM.
Membership in a NPC sorority is limited to one organization.
If a PNM chooses to become an initiated member of an NPC sorority, she will not ever be able to join another NPC Sorority. Even if she is no longer a member of the original organization she was initiated into.
